i know that there was in coduo something like an animated texturebut i cant find anything in cod2
i also looked into the prop_flag_american xmodel and also the material file for it and i cant see something special there

does some1 know more about this texture-scroll?
i cannot get it to work on one of my custom models..
i took the same material settings
materialType: model phong
surfaceType: none
[x] Texture scroll
and applied this to a custom model and a stock model
on stock models it works, but not on my, its static there
so it has to be with the xmodel i guess?!
i set the model to rigid/animated/viewmodel, but still the same static material on custom models

any suggestions?

interesting... no clue :(

is the tread a separate model? and what did u set for tiling? I guess it has to be tile both, not no tiling like for regular models

i took a random texture and looked for mtl_prop_bear and mtl_weapon_kar98 and recreated the texture for them (kar98 as viewmodel, bear as static one)
i only set:
- materialType: model phong
- surfaceType: none
- and hit the Texture scroll
and ingame both models got a scrolling texture
after this i did the same three settings to a custom model and there it is static, no scroll nothing
so in fact of this it has to be either the model_export or a setting in the assetmanager (guess last1, but there is nothing about texture)
so i tried rigid/animated/viewmodel and still no scrolling texture
there is a blank field called 'skinOverride' maybe there has to be a special word in it mhh
i will now test to export a stock model and import it, maybe this works?! at least i will give this way a chance ^^
