Not sure I actually believe what I'm seeing... In a recent tweet by pcdev, he has stated that the Call of Duty : Black Ops - Mod tools beta have been released on steam. You can find them under tools in the library tab. [Original Article]

I'm still downloading the tools but there is a map_source folder with .map files in it, so it would appear that radiant is included.

Ive heard from someone that has already downloaded it that radiant is NOT included. I have no idea why there are .map files in there.. edited on Jun. 22, 2011 09:31 pm by TechPB EDIT: the .map files are blank.. so maybe radiant will be available at a later date?

EPIC FAIL. You are correct TechPB. Radiant is NOT included with the tools. You are not able to make maps with this tool set. I guess it really is too little...too late...

I suppose I will go ahead and download them and see what all the fuss is about. But in the long term without community maps I dont see BO going much farther in terms of mods. Some good game play changes and maybe some new game types, but without good maps there isnt much point really. edited on Jun. 22, 2011 09:50 pm by Samuel033 Since Maya 8.5 wont work, I assume, that leaves out anything related to modeling also. when there is radiant i will fight tooth and nail for it... no radiant will ignore it like my red haired step-siblings.
