Welp. I tried to get there early and get far up in line for the Battlefield 3 hands on. However, LA just wouldn't allow it to happen. Heck, even Kotick from Activision was turned down from a preview (who would blame them). So instead I spent the day play all the other games. Oh yeah, and as Welshy (or Masta) requested, I took a ton of photos as you can see below.

I played Indie games and AAA games. I fooled around with hardware and asked most of these exhibitors what they were doing for modders (not a lot was known about that).

I plan on talking about as much as I can come Sunday's MODSonair show. So check us out then. In the meantime, here are those photos:

Is it true that E3 came early this year? Isn't it always in July? And isn't E3 invites only? It's what I heard from Xplay or whatever G4 TV show I was watching. If so, lucky foyleman. :D Nice, foyleman. Glad you had fun playing other games. :D Too bad you missed BF3. You're not the only one! :D Voidsource, you live in LA, you might be able to sneak in. :D

u cant sneak in ive tried it. the one way i know of getting in is waiting outside and asking ppl for their passes as they are leaving so that way u can use their pass to go in. thats how i got in last time. but go on the 2nd day not the first. 2nd day ppl kinda tend to say eh wth i already had 2 days of fun and they will give u their pass.

Sorry. bad permissions on the photos. They are open now. Voidsource... I think you're right. That might actually work to get into the E3 show itself. I was somewhat joking the other day that the street bums should try and do that so they can get a load of new shirts for the year. So much swag to be had.

If so, lucky foyleman. :D Yes and no regarding the invite only access. You are supposed to be either a media outlet or in the games industry. I have a game studio so I can get it. Although I bet I could get in under the modsonair / modsonline status for media which I might try for in the future. I did get a modsonair pass for PAX Prime in Seattle in August. ;)
