Paramount Digital Entertainment announced. Star Trek, a co-op action/adventure from Digital Extremes based on J.J. Abrams' Star Trek reboot movie. The game is due in summer 2012 for PC Windows, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. This will be the first time that gamers will be able to play cooperatively as Kirk and Spock. The game continues the adventure that director and producer J.J. Abrams envisioned with his 2009 reboot of the franchise. The action game features an original storyline by BAFTA award winner and God of War writer, Marianne Krawczyk, in collaboration with the writers/producers of the new Star Trek films, Bob Orci and Alex Kurtzman. Set after the events of the 2009 film, Kirk and Spock must work together to stop a legendary enemy race bent on conquering the galaxy. Digital Extremes is working closely on the new game with Bad Robot, K/O Paper Products and Damon Lindelof. The game is licensed by CBS Consumer Products.
