Right i am probably gonna sound like a right Noob but i am so here go's. I have made a deathmatch map in GTK and it works perfectly but now i want to create an elimination type game on the same map, i have been searching for tutorials and info on how to do this but i am coming up blank, can anyone tell me how to create team spawn areas.

dear noob,

of course we can help, thats what this forum is all about. And actually your question is rather simple which means you ll get your elim map going in no time!

read up on spawntypes:

you have been using info_player_deathmatch i presume. Now you will have to place gametype_player objects around your map. Each of these gametype_player things u will have to set some settings (see tutorial) .. select your gametype_player and press n (entities) then put the new keys in: gametype "elim" (or gametype "elim inf ctf" ...) and the key spawnflags 1 or spawnflags 2 (to decide its red or blue spawn..)
