It's now possible to mod black ops and load the mod.

Make a /mods/ folder in your install folder then make a mod folder called mp_MODNAME (Don't forget the mp_). And there you go, start the game load the mod via the mod menu and start a private match

that is just a trick with the /mod/ folder... it works for all cods that use Server selections and not random games like mw2 u can even make a mod for cod 3 witch doesn't have mod tools and it still say that mod name on loading but it doesn't affect game as there is no modded files in the /mod/ folder cause you need tools for modding files. only things you can mod for any cod with out tools are images .dds to .iwi and .iwi to .dds but mw2 gets error when changing files
