My computer has decided to use most of its CPU on sevices.exe and hot_plug.exe and none on System Idle Process. Second time its done this this week (last time i formated it) and the problem has surfaced again.

My system:

O/S: Win XP. Processer: AMD Athlon 64 (2.0 ghz) RAM: 1.0 gb DDR.

i had a similar problem a while back with cvrs.exe or something like that, it was using 99% of my CPU :\ it was spyware, might be the problem your having. scan any files you download or try and think of any websites you go to that could have given it to you.

If its not spyware i dunno what it is.
