Here is the raygun, Works the eact same way to stick it into cod4 look at the _settings.jpg images to find the image names and such and compare them to make sure they are correct.

Open the raygun.gdt in source_data for this.

Hope it all works for you if not let me know and i shall help you again. dont know about making another vid though felt a bit embarist using annotations as im am shy >.<

Ok so now with you help (Thanks for the model of the RAYGUN) i now got it on my map.



But it is Static, i cant pick it up, so now i need you help so i can pick up the raygun and use it like any other weapon..

Hope you can do this or me, nice chatting with ya on Xfire last night.. hope them script will help... IF not maybe a differant weapon script might work, then you just change a few things around in the scripting.???

Anyways please pt any files i need to download here or try ctch me on xfire after 12 noon tomorrow/sunday..

HELP. small problem with the skull in game... ok in radiant you see the skull with the gold on yes,


but in game the skulls are BLUE..


ive put the skull iwi file in the main Cavens1.iwd image folder.. so what wrong here.??

IGNOR THAT last bit i did forget to add the iwi in to the iwd file, thats now done and skull works,,



But there is 1 other problem tho, the skulla are not solid, if i just on them i cant i just go through them, i need these to be solid,so how do i do that.??

Use the clip texture thats the only way of doing it with a model.

What ? Only brushes can be made structural or detail.

And yeah, cover each skull with a brush textured with noclip.
There are different types of noclip textures (wood, metal etc). The difference is the sound it makes when you walk on that brush. But I don't suppose you'll be walking on the skulls, so you can pick which one you want.
Also, the type of FX and sound that come out when you shoot the skull, is dictated by the settings you chose in AssMan for the material.

Ive no-cliped the Model and i can jump onto the skull, i now need to know how to change the skull's color from Gold to Silver, and other colors such as RED, Black Ect. so i have 4 differant color skulls.


I think i know how to do it by changing the dds graphics and making the skull model as skull2 for silver, skull3 for Red, skull4 for black then compiling /converting the skull again in the assman.?? ect, is this correct.??

tried to make a new skull with new color, but Assman is being a ASS, wont let me compile/make anymore skulls even when i change the Skull souce_data, and model xport names...IE, copy models then rename the 2nd models name...

I have the colors ready, but i cant get a new working skull.. think i need help again..

do i need to change the model names and data source name.. ie.

zombie_skull1.xmodel_export
skull.tga

or just the matrial, texture??

Coz if it just the matrial/Texture, how do i add these to the skull?? bit confuzed here again.lol

ie just made Red/Black,Silver DDS files...
