Well Im talking about the cj mod and i want to make/edit a menu in it.
Hard to explain just is it possible to add/edit a menu in a compiled .ff when i have the codes through FFViewer?

I want 1 like in mod menus and stuff that looks neater than the cj mod's menus

Altering work of someone else for personally use or learning is okay. Otherwise editing of files is strictly prohibited!

It is possible if you have the files you want to edit. It strongly depends on what you want to edit though.

I've decompiled the mod myself before and the menu files aren't editable. so its pointless.[banghead]

Yep, menu files get compiled to binary data and can't be extracted from a fastfile

You will have a problem if this mod or .ff already contains custom/modded stock menus... decompiler we have cannot extract .menu file so even if in theory yes you can add .menu to a .ff by decompiling, you will be missing menus and possibly other things.

Best is to obtain source from the author and therefore permission to add to it.
