I played your beta 2 also. Nice work is due credit. but you are obviously new to mapping because alot is not clipped off. you can get to alot of roofs via ..erm.. how do i discrib it... the roof near all the trenches (too much of a lazy c**t to get a screen shot). there are two ways of getting to the roof... the fun part is for you to find these two ways cus im also too lazy to even discribe them. after that you can go walls etc nade jump 1ce and u can go anywhere basically. more than what RnR|ricsta mentioned...

I have 1 point concerning the clips that have already been produce... some are very well placed... but others are obvious... and others are just plain annoying because they dont allow you to jump to ur maximum height and is quite off putting.

from 2nd floors of buildings you can see out of the game area to see the edge of the map... this is annoying... try hiding it with walls or trees or buildings.

The lighting errors are common within ur map. proberly can be fixed by texturing some already caulked sides.

Other than that- good work. Noticed alot of the same errors ricsta pointed out, and no, you dont have to go looking for errors to find them... some of them are quite off putting.

Thanx for the pix Ricsta, they’re very helpful. I’ll fix most of those that don’t require larger structural changes. I don’t know why that mg42 didn’t work for you. It always worked in the servers I played on :/. As for falling to death – that spot is where the tdm intermission is. dono why the game would spawn you there. I’ve checked through all the spawn points and had no problem spawning. I’ll test some more.

I made this map to get a feel for mapping for CoD and have something playable in the end but it’s already a lot more tighter then I expected it to be. No doubt there are tons of more bugs that no one has found yet [lol] So after I make these fixes, I’ll release the final… finally [jumping]

That MG42 only doesn't work in UO. He seems to forget this is a CoD map.

Yeah that really interests me cuz I'm entertaining ideas of minoring in game design if I go to SCAD.

Yep me to, when i finished samsite i sent cv's off to some websites and gave screenys to my map and told them wot i can do. ive never had any replys tho.

But im gonna do the same thing when neuvilles finished, but i dont care how long it takes im gonna keep on trying to get there

Thank you everyone.
Well first off I mapped & modeled for the mohaa Modern-Warfare mod and that would help allot for me. After that I answered some position posting in my city at some of those job sites. I sent them my resume and a portfolio, most of it from my work with modern-warfare.
I showed them some of these
Then I picked the best offer I liked out of those that answered back. Did the interview thing and that’s about it.[cool]

well i was hoping to get a job in the city (London) but after whats happened im not to shore i wanna work there so now its gonna make life alot harder!!!!

Would be sweet if there was companys that let ya work at home, but i doubt they would want all there game information leaving the center to my home computer, lol
