MP Citi Cemetery [beta]

Hey everyone,

I've had this Beta sitting around for a couple months and thought I would release it to the public so I can get it out to final soon. We've been testing it on a private server for a couple months and still haven't found much for bugs. Probably because we don't run all the gametypes. I'm going to release it to get more feedback.

I'll also update this thread with some download links soon, but it should be up in the downloads section of this site shortly. I've already uploaded it. So, if your interested in having it up on your server, check back in the next few days for download links.

Anyways, here are some screens and a simple Video of the map. I apologize for the poor quality of the video, but you get the idea.












There are a few easter eggs, but there are also plenty of controls for server admins to work with in the config file for likes and dislikes of the features. Mortars, Bomber, etc.

You can drop any feedback, fixes or bugs here. I'll watch the thread while the beta is still active. Thanks for reading.

Match the fog color with the color of the sky at the horizon so you don't get that horrid white effect

Try using fog color R=0.03 G=0.08 B=0.2.

Hey Deek, looks like a fun map, Liked the ghost in the video too. With the fog, as being discussed above, maybe try making it a darker colour, ie dark blue and then play with the amount/distance values. Sure the fog wont be as obvious but it should blend the background trees into the skybox a bit more. Also I used an effect which was like a localised shimmering fog that I just placed into many locations. If your interested check out my map mp_nmland, it's a bit darker than yours but maybe you could get some idea of what I mean.

I'll give those RGB values a try, thanks BraX.

Looks cool L4chy. I'll try that fog effect, make the radius a little bigger, swap it for the current fog effect and see how it looks in the map.

Sorry about that. Yesterday I uploaded it to 4 places. Filefront, Modsonline, CODUtility and CODMaps and just waiting for the links to become active.

Modsonline and CODUtility are the only two active links right now. Check my first post, I updated the download links and added Modsonline link.
