I get this error. I bought and installed game through steam. Did the 1.3 update and it said it was already the latest version of game. Went to Punkbuster site and did update for COD2. Said I was updated...still get this error after a few minutes of play... Thanks in advance!

Do you have any overlay programs? Try disabling Steam in-game, xfire in-game, and any other game overlay programs.

Hmm...dont know what an overlay problem is... How do I disable steam in game? I thought they owned the world!! LoL

I am having the same problem with battlefield 2 Project Reality i disabled steam overlay and it worked ty for the help aswell edited on Mar. 22, 2011 02:51 pm by Corey.Parish
