Hello guys,
I'm working on a wild-west project.
Im inspirated by the game ''Call of Juarez''
Im making 3 custom maps, custom weapons and skins for this mod.
Progress:
Maps: 40%
Skins: 50%
weapons: 65%
The maps:
Nogales: (50%) Old abandoned city with a saloon, houses, banks, sheriff office.
Tipi-Town:(100%) This is an indian camp with tipis
The Ranch:(40%) This is a ranch in the middle of the desert. With a black smith, saloon and a weapon store.
The skins:
The axis are the Outlaw and the allies are the Lawmen
They've got a cowboy skin and a cowboy hat. (already got the hat)
The weapons?
3 Classes,
Rifleman
-Springfield non scope
-Lee Enfield
-Kar98K
-Mosin nagant
Also a new map I'm working on.
(thanks capt.com for the great footbridge prefab!)
Canyon
Maps are almost done.
Just working on the weapons which are also almost done :)
Another revolver is coming. And I'm working on the dynamite.

Last map is done, just have to do the testing part of the maps ;)
Weapons are done, only the dynamite stave isn't working yet.
Now I am working on the classmenu.
I think I'll release the beta in 2 weeks.
After that I'll release mappack with 4 extra maps.
Just working on the website with some friends and making a home server (or paid, we don't know) for cod2.
Mappack:
Trainstation: A trainstation in the desert with some buildings near it.
Canyon: A Canyon in the desert with a rope bridge and a train bridge, good map for sniping.

Mine: A mine with lots of tunnels and mine cars.

not that i am promoting copying anybodys work, but the Old mines near Macguders mine on the game Gun always called to me as an awesome multiplayer map.
It was the place where you put the cross into the socket and find quivera. It is a giant rocky butte with mine tunnels going up and through it, with some old rickety mine buildings here and there on top. there is also some tnt barrels scattered around (should be fun). You could make several deer paths up the sides, and two large tunnels. one team spawns in the mine camp on top, and the other can spawn on a train stopped in front of the mine and fights there way up. I dont know if your doing any special gametypes but this would be a great S&D or Defend & Capture.
just an idea....
also it is probably more work then fun, but if you could figure out gatling guns for turrets, you could design some maps around turret positions. (armored trains, Forts, bandit hideouts....)
