I have a zombie server running on COD2 1.0 with a lot of maps and 1 mod.How can i make it that you only download the mod and the map that are currently needed in the server? Example: I have yoshi_final and ug_zombietown in the server and the zombiemod. So when yoshi_final is playing, you only need to download yoshi_final and the zombiemod. ug_zombietown must wait than.

I saw this in other servers too, but they won't explain me. Also, there is no redirect in that server.

well of course there are no redirects on there server. your in 1.0 where redirects dont exist because its only in the newer patchs, 1.2 and 1.3. and anyways its as simple as this. you go in console and put.

/rcon set sv_allowdownload 0

that way when someone is coming in the server they dont have to download anything that isnt playing. but i think the only problem with this is. if they have autodownload off i think they can be in your server with weapons that are restricted and everything else. but im not positive but it could happend. good luck .

I get this error:

Could not download zombie/zzz_zombiemod.iwd because autodownloading is disabled on the server.

You will need to get this file elsewhere before you van connect to this pure server.

I had this same error on your ZombieNation server. I have autodownloading ON in my cod2 settings

I already found that topic, but not every map has a soundaliases. That means that this doesn't work for me.
