by the look of the errors... I am guessing you did not install it in the root directory (f:SOF2MPSDK*)

Go back to the setup tutorial after uninstalling what you have and follow it step by step without changing anything. It really has to be installed only one way.. there is no leniency.

I agree with foyleman, I don't think you did either, go back to the install instructions provided on this website, if you follow the instructions to the letter they will for you. I really did not have any problems running the program because I followed the directions. And I am a noob at this!! LOL Also make sure that when you are ready to save your file, that you save it in the sof2sdkbasemaps folder, that is where the compiling programs are looking for it. Am I right on that foyleman?

I reinstalled last night to the default dir C:Sof2SDK

and all is well, i however still have my sof2 in f:gamesSoldier of Fortune 2: Double Helix

but all is well, make sure you read my newest post for my thanks to everyone who helped!
