Hey all.
One more time, I need help.
I can't find the name of the file for modding the knife in CoD4.
Check all over the internet but can't find it.

I'm looking for a file called "knife_mp" or something like that for me to mod it.

If anyone can help me, tell me where it is and what's it's name.

There is no knife weapon file. The knife animations and damage etc are built into each weapon file itself.

If however you are looking to reduce damage for all knife attacks without modding every weapon file you can look for means of death in the damage callback (MOD_MELEE) in global logic gsc and reduce iDamage before it is used.

Hey, huge thanks. I run a sniper server so I just have to mod the melee damage from the sniper files.

Btw, I'm looking for someone who is able to help me understand this kind of modding and someone who knows what to do when it's needed. Do you know how to mod the "Quick Message Menu"?
