Hey I was wondering is anyone could give me the worldspawn values for: mp_chateaunight
mp_burnville
mp_pathfinder

How do I create searchlights?

How do I keep my lights from shining from 1 room, threw the wall and into the other room? (also how do i keep it from making bright spots on the ceiling?)

when i put an xmodel into my map it has a blue box around it, when i test my map, the model ie. tree, box, bed, ect. isn't there? What am i not doing right?

How do i make C-47's fly overhead?

How do I make radio sounds and other sounds?

I go ahead and do a search on some of these, but of course it doesn't hurt to post my questions anyway.

slow down man !!!!
whats your next question ... can some one make my map for me !?

Before you ask so many question I would recommend that you use the rather usefull SEARCH option.

All these questions have been answered many many times before.

Thanks Pauulo!! I did happen to find most of my questions and the world spwn link really helped!

I still need an answer to this one :when i put an xmodel into my map it has a blue box around it, when i test my map, the model ie. tree, box, bed, ect. isn't there? What am i not doing right?


ALso the C-47 i was planning to put in are only the 2d models that look like there flying up really high

I go to the 2d window, right click to bring down the window. The one were you can choose a actor, or light ect also it has the really long list of xmodels. If i choose 1 it appears on the map but surrounding the chair, tree, lightpost ect is a blue box, just thin blue lines out lining the edge of the box.
So lets say the xmodel is in the map. I compile the map no problems walk around the map but no trees, no chairs, no desk. The building i built is there, just none of the xmodels.
What is going on, does it have to do with the blue box?

Now the answer to this question i KNOW is nowhere to be found on modsonline.

Scenario: You have a flat field with its vertices all lined up with the backround grid. There is a square house lined up 90 deg, with the grid as well. Now, u press the V k for the terrain, go to patch---split. Therefore cutting out the terrain under the house and moving the vertices to the houses edge. No big deal right. Well lets say that same house is free rotated to a 45 degree. It is no longer lined up correctly with any vertices therefor making a nightmare of cutting the terrain. Is there any easy way to fit the terrain to the house or do i just screw it and leave the terrain alone?
