Here is the situation, lately I have been having nothing but issues when trying to run many mods for cod waw (I never used to before).

I will say first my game is a original, and this problem of trying to play many mods is a recent development. I have reinstalled a few times and installing patches in order, still cannot get many mods to work now.

A common error message in the script I am seeing is like this

Could not find script "character/char_usa_raider_player_assault"

I just don't know what I am doing wrong or am I missing files. It just makes no sense that I used to be able to run any mod with no issues, and now all of a sudden I cannot hardly any mod to work.

try adding this to your mod.csv

character,char_usa_raider_player_rifle
character,char_usa_raider_player_cqb
character,char_usa_raider_player_assault
character,char_usa_raider_player_lmg
character,char_usa_raider_player_smg
character,char_jap_impinf_player_smg
character,char_jap_impinf_player_rifle

character,char_jap_impinf_player_assault

I don't have a mod.csv file.

I don't know how to make mods, I just download them.

SO from your post am I missing this file, and if I need to make one, where does one need to save the file?
