Hey everyone, I would like to use the chinatown textures and models from the map pack. I saw in the other post about this that I need to extract some file. I dont know how to do this: what file, where to extract, etc. can someone give me a step by step tutorial please? thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure you have to rip the models out using a program, like DXRipper. The materials can be found in .IWI form, which can be coverted to .DDS and then applied to the ripped models I guess. However I have no experiencing it doing stuff like that, so I can't be much help apart from that. edited on Feb. 6, 2011 01:47 am by Xylozi

If they havn't released the assets you wont be able to get them, im not aware of anything that rips the assets out of a fastfile other than sounds and text.
