That is strange. Is that a map you have made? It's almost like a kill trigger is in that doorway.

Seems like the AI can't find a path to the player(s). Hence, the engine kills them off. In the console type. /ai_shownodes 4 /developer 1 And see if there is a path to the player(s) location at the time.
