well im about to start a new map, as i got bored stiff of the last one

since very few people ever play mp_chateau on UO, im planning on making a map very similar to that, with one house being in the middle
under its working title its mp_chateau2 but i would love to give it a new name
where's that thesauras...

who likes the idea?

hum.. dont no mate i think you should do something different as that map really sucks lol .. although up to you, remeber mapping takes a loy of time so you want an idea which may be popular

i would try to stay away from a town map .. so many as it is, also if you go for a historical map . make sure you research as much as possible! how about going for a map such as the trenches map in cod uo?? thats a good map

I know its hard trying to find an idea for a map, with so many already out there, of towns, u-boat pens, country side, train stations ect. Its hard to pick something that hasnt alread been done. If you want to do one of a caslte, why not try making your own castle in your town or city(if you have one) or one that you live near.

Maybe something like Island Wars. Lots of smallish islands with bridges and stuff connecting them all might be quite good. Sort of 1 or 2 " huts" of each island. As a random idea that may not have been done before.

how about a Pacific island map! someone could change the skins to marines and Japanese
