Hey, got this weird problem. I`m not sure if i pressed something by accident or what, but all of the sudden i lost almost the whole map. Then i found out, it is all there, i just don`t see it, until i get close with the camera to something. Like if i activated some sort of distance draw maximum or something.... Deleted the registry entry but no change. Has anyone got a solution to this? Google not helping much, since i don`t really know how to shortly describe this issue... really weird and would like to get rid of it... Thanks :) edited on Dec. 15, 2010 11:11 am by CHS HAHA, solved :D sorry to disturb with that.. i just randomly clicked the whole toolbar to see what happens and then it happend - got it back on. Happens to be the 'cubic clip the camera view' button. No idea what that is for, but i`ll sure never touch it again...

go to edit>preferences and check the farplane settings for the camera, put it to 40000 or something that fits your map.

It just allow radiant to be more smooth and doesn't lag as much. It doesn't show everything. It's also easier to work with so u don't select anything else other than what u intend to select. Now, this isn't really off topic, but does anyone know how to select more than one things without clicking everything. Say I want to select half the map. Is there a way to drag select? It takes way too long to select all one by one.

Draw a box over the area you want selected (keep it selected) Right click the '2D' grid Click option 'Select' Click option 'Inside' from the submenu
