This is driving me mad. A certain number of my Common textures are no longer available to select from the common texture list. A few to mention are caulk, all the clips, portals, ladders and a few more. In the map they are there. I can see caulk, ladder clip, portals etc. and yet when I use Ctrl+Shift and left click the caulk texture on the brush is lit but does not appear in the texture window. Selecting common in the texture menu does not bring up the missing textures above.

I know the editor has been set up properly as I have been mapping for some time now. All the relevant files are there in the common folder.
I am wondering if I have turned off something somehwere along the line. Can't see anything obvious in the preferences.
Begining to think of a clean reinstall.

You can check your Common textures folder. This is located in: C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\uo\textures\common by default path. There should be 35 files located in that folder.

Edit: Woops. I read it so fast I missed: "All the relevant files are there in the common folder." Yea, reinstallation would do it.

Fixed it! But not finding the cause to the problem and applying remedial action. Nope, uninstall and reinstall did not fix. Restored my computer to an earlier time and that cured it. Not being a genius with computers but something somewhere got its knickers in a knot, maybe a registry thingy. Who knows. Not the best answer but got it working nonetheless.
