My "Point Du Hoc" map is going fast with making[thumbs_up], so it can be finished over about.... 2 weeks or something but that is the BETA version, so if you want that the map is finished fast help me directly with my questions if i have one. [cool][exclamation]

I agree... 2 weeks is a hell of a short time to complete a map in even if it is just a beta...[sniper]

i started today and im working at it now i was home at 4 oçlock and its now almost 9 o'clock and had a break of a half hour

yep youre right im hours busy with it

May I suggest a couple of things?

First, use good current photos of the actual Point du Hoc.

Second, research the assault by the Rangers.

(forgive the U.S. Army spelling of Point du 'Hoe', it is incorrect.)

Third, I suggest making your map accurate for the Normandy Coast. The sky and lighting should be correct for the time of day during the assault. Make the foliage, grass and earth look like Normandy. If you want help, I can offer additional resources since I created Dog Red Beach and am working on Dog Green Beach at the moment. It would be nice if the "Omaha' maps looked similar.

I second Daffy's advise...There have been too many make beleive maps named after real locations...
