hey guys, ive made my map, but when i play it on my small server/listen server it works fine, but when i upload it to my server/linux and go to play it crashes can someone help me out ?

Have you maybe got any capitals in your mapname? Because Linux is case sensitive, while windows isn't.

When does the server crash? During loading? or during playing the map? Also, have you ever encountered this problem with another custom map?

See if you can spot any other differences between a random working custom map and your own.

Folders in the pk3? Other filenames? Used a capital in the .arena file?

Linux is very picky about script errors. You need to look over any scripts your running for the map and see if you can pare down to just the essentials.

To find the errors, you can try running your Linux server in DevMode, or run your map on your Windows box in DevMode with +set console 2.

Then look through the logs for Runtime and Compile Errors.

it crashes when about 6 of use go on the map, and yes it has happened to all my maps but im getting a bit annoyed now because every map i make it never can be played apart from me so this one im not going to let slip away

But it doesn't happen on other custom maps when you play it with more than 6 people?
