Hi all,its been a while since i mapped for cod2..All is good except my loadscreen..It shows in menu screen but not when loading the map..?..Im not getting any errors when assman creates iwi..Ive made loads of maps for cod2 in the past with no problems what so ever.but im stuck on this one.. Anybody got any ideas?.. Cheers... ...kals...

Believe me ive read the tutorials,like i say ive made lots of maps for cod2 and never had this problem before..I just thought that someone had maybe had the same problem..

No ..Its driving me crazy!..Ive tried multiple times but with no luck...It shows in menu screen but not when loading a map?

When you come to some specific problem when you are mapping, it is 99,99% possible thats it is your mistake. So, Tools are not "broken", only thing that may cause your problem is wrong file positioning, or even naming it. Have you followed final step? Let us see where you have placed files. Take some time and try to write what exactly you've been doing. Ivan

Well i have created my loadscreen in photoshop(1024 x 1024)saved as DDS DXT5...Placed this in images folder..Then opened assman,..click material,then new entry...Then got all the settings has in tutorial...http://modsonline.com/Tutorials-read-325.html I have my .csv placed in maps/mp folder along with .gsc/fx etc.. In the .csv is:- levelBriefing,loadscreen_mp_mymap .. Like i say it shows in the menu screen but doesnt when map is loading.. edited on Oct. 23, 2010 06:14 pm by kals HURRAY!! ive fixed it at last!! A good tip is to step away from it for a couple of hours and return with a new frame of mind... Just '1' simple spelling mistake in csv...My god how stupid am i.. DOH!!
