Got another map done and i am fighting with lights. The map uses wetwork worldspawns (unchanged) and i have a large brush making a spotlight (like those from football staduims). I used some prefabs on the maps, cargocontainers from mp_backlot prefab folder reflects that light and is white, all other prefabs reflect the blue dark sunlight color from the wordspawn. Including the player character.

How can i do a light, that emmits light, that is reflected by everything on the map, that can be affected by it?

Thanks for any ideas

Do you eean like a dynamic light so when you walk through it the light is blocked from shining on the surface below the player

Or godrays?

Could be couple of things, do you have Reflection probes, LightGRID and LIGHTGRID_SKY? Do you have your GRID file made?

i use only light grid sky, i can stretch it over the whole map without caring about limits.....

So you think it could be solved, when i insert a smaller light grid into the light grid sky? BTW: can there be more smaller light grids in one map? And can/need they touch each other?

Just tried to add a smaller light grid brush into the large light grid sky, but no change :(

Okay, threw away the large box and left only the small one and solved it... seems like it does not matter on daytime maps (never had any problems with that for now). One never learns enough.
