heres another update on my map.




i placed in mortars, smoke nades, and dogs...still have to put in the tank and truck with baddies.[thumbs_up]

The mortars would look better if they where further away, i a shell hit that close to player they would be stain on the floor.

Also that lighting, is it just for testing (no reflection probes), the video quality or is it intended to look very pink?.

lol...everyone picks on the lighting, i guess thats why its still there :P
but yea, its only there for testing. dont really wanna bother with it atm. Ive placed the mortars there just for testing purposes but i do plan on using them. i do want the player to worry about them which will cause X damage, but shouldnt be more than 70. Its just a lil extra thing to make the player worry lol. i like to make things challenging, not easy.[jumping]

The camera shake seems over the top and really violent, kind of nauseating watching that video.

2 things I want to comment:

1. at the end of the first video you posted, the three musketeers enter a building and the player mans a heavy machine gun; then you shoot a helicopter and it crashes quite far away from your position and yet the ground (or rather the camera) shakes as if there was an earthquake

2. at the start of the second video, our heroes are standing outside of the building, out in the open, while being attacked from all sides; you should add more cover, because atm the player is a sitting duck; I know the map isn't final and you were probably going to do that

Nice touch with the enemies coming out from behind a smoke curtain.
Also, how did you get the palm trees to sway like that ?

ah thats an earthquake. i will try to settle the magnitude on it.

yes it is an earthquake. id figure the ground should shake a lil....but yea i will settle that down as well.

i should but that area will be short. Though i could put some stuff. ill think about it.

thanks. I liked that as well. keeps u busy while the dogs attack ur partners and you lol.

script models. they already have their anims, i just had to script them so they can be animated.

That was funny. I hope no chickens were harmed during the making of this movie :)

Also, do the chickens work with pathfinding, too ? Because it went right out the door, didn't bump into things, made a clean exit.
