The Battlefield 2 Demo has been available for a couple days now. What are your thoughts on this release? Leave your comments.

I thought it was good, but u cant beat the novelty of flying WW2 planes and driving panzers !

I thought the gameplay was quite good.

The menu system, on the other hand, just made me angry. I have certain controls I like to use and reseting the keyboard controls in the demo was horrible.

I also read that the server list for multiplay is really bad. I haven't checked it out yet. I only had time for single player action.

Ahh! its a nightmare the server browser is well not very good, but it wasnt great on BF1942 im waiting for the ASE support for the full game should make things ALOT easier and wont have to watch them dammed adverts for NVida everytime i boot it up.
Only thing thats stoping me buying it i think is GTA:SA on pc, which one should i get ... ah well i would say BF2 has many great features (from what i have seen in the demo) but i dunno if its me i just hope demo is not a touch on the game because for me it feels a little 'dry', still id say its worth the download!

I've been playing San Andreas and I am looking forward to something better. The previous GTA games seemed to make the main character easier to relate to regardless of who you were. Now, with this new game, you have to be from the inner city to get a feel for the game. I don't enjoy it as much.

Yea i wernt to keen on the 'Gangsta' rap crap but i really enjoyed the whole experience on the PS2, i was hoping that that PC would just fill in all the things the ps2 did wrong i.e pathetic draw distance and slowdown, still BF2 does look tempting :D

Not very impressed.
Nothing original, save your money and wait for COD2.

It is, its also a pain to start and a pain running around the map finding someone to kill, half the time your not sure which side is which.

Yeh i argee wait for COD2, i downloaded demo of BF2, but i have to swap gfx card over everytime to play it so stuff that. My geforce wont let BF2 run, my other gfx card that does run BF2 gives me 20-40 fps in COD. Still COD always rules.

hehe. I installed it on two machines in my office. One machine refused to install the demo. I traced the source of the problem to the audio hardware. Either it is conflicting with one of the audio cards I have or it doesn't like the on-board audio. Either way.. It would not fully install and the partial install would not run.

The other computer ran the game just fine without any problems.

EA will need to setup a team to handle this game's complaints.

In my opinion the BF2 demo is great! Flying troops in and wounded people out in a Black Hawk can keep you entertained for hours lol! The AI has vastly improved on the BF1942 AI and I would go out and buy the game... Trouble is that im torn between SA and BF2 which aint a nice situation to be in lol...
