That game 'homefront' looks just like a SP level in MW2. Has the feel of BFBC2 and the weapons of 'Fuel Of War'. More of the same?! In regards to COD:BO. The customisation, face painting is not what makes a great game and agree with your comments. It appears alot of this is to appeal to more the younger generation maybe? I watched this podcast today at work. When I got home tonight, my boys rushed to me and said excitingly. "Have you seen the new Black Ops trailer? You can customise your gun and paint your face, it going to be awesome!". So it seems small gimics do make a great game?!

Eladd, i think our definition of a 'great' game differs to the latest generation. It seem to have a great game now you need to pack full of features such as perks, leaderboards, customisation and as many explosions and sparkly things as possible. Before a great game would be based on the performance of the game, length it took to complete, story, voice acting etc.. But when your target audience is teens then old folk don't really get concidered. Personally i would love a game like vanilla cod without any gimicks, unlockable, perks and whatnot just good old fasioned gaming with some good old fasioned community built maps.
