I downloaded it and i have to say i enjoyed it. i can see what people are on about with the choke points but i managed ok to get past them. game looks lush and the sound is perfect but it would defo add to the game to be playing in a group of friends i reckon and as for snipers i didnt mind too much because once you get up close they are screwed.

Played a little more today and again didnt have no probs.

My main concerns are the map size though, even though you get the appearance of a large map, it actually very small and clipped everywhere.

Something you guys might be able to clarify for me as i think im doing something wrong but when you get rocket/missle/air strikes you use key 7 (i think) for offensive abilities but can you not choose where they are? I always get the +40 point for calling it but never yet seen it.

i didnt evan realise there were ones all i knew was that if i got a few kills then pressed 5 i could call in a mortor strike which i could place where i wanted

Thats strange, i press the button to use the strike but can't place it yet i get the point for using it.. Is that all you do breesy? or is there map of some sort you open first?

I have to concur with Shoom and ATB. I played a match in the snow level...

Negatives:
- Spawn-Die
- Spawn-Run A Few Feet-Die
- No spawn protection.
- No real cover, just geo from level layout.
- Clips at places it looks like you can traverse to.

Pros:
- Weapons sounds / recoiling.
- Menus

I'll probably try to pick this up for singleplayer then trade it. If the campaign is as good as the trailers they've shown, should be decent.

My view also I would add that if the size and design of levels we have seen so far, its VERY SMALL. I would however have the recoling in the negatives as there is none and it makes sniping with handguns possible accross the map which sucks

I have to comment on the disastrous Server connectivity, yes its beta, but the disconnects and CTD are ... annoying

For the positives i would say:

- Graphics (runs superb on my rig at full options)
- Fxs and general atmosphere (except that ugly Bloom on snow level)
- Sounds are great, battlechatter also

All in all I will get the game - i buy most military FPS anyways - but i dont think it measures to either Halo Reach or BlakOps and as it is stuck in the middle for release, i predict low sales after the first few weeks.

One more thing I'd add to the positives is the price... I could order this today for £24 GBP which is a very fair price for a game these days, and if the sales are poor I can pick this up for £12.99 a month or so after release, like I did for BC2...

not buying it will pick it up cheap for the SP...

Spawn deaths happen because you are spawning in front, pick spawn at base which is the far right option. When you spawn at front you spawn right behind a teammate which is probably getting shot at.
