Due to a virus, I recently had my computer wiped and am thinking about getting back into WAW MP mapping so I am starting from square one. I've got WAW reinstalled and have played it several times, and am about to get the sdk. I looked at the download section here and have seen at least 3 downloads for the tools. A v1.2 (1414.26mb) , v1.2 update (40.03mb), and v1.2.1 (incremental) (193.37kb) . I also remember there being a v1.3 at about 40mb . With all these tool available, I am a bit confused to which ones are needed to do some mapping. If anyone has a precise list of what is needed and were to download it, I would really appreciate it. Thanks techno, but it looks like I am having the same problems as brfore, and it just closes my computer down to the bsod everytime. Thanks for your help anyway.

What happens? At what stage does the error happen too, also give us your computer specs and OS.

It's worth posting the information here as others may have had the same issue, or give a different perspective and advice on the possibilities regarding a fix.

I can use radiant just fine, but either while I am working on a map, or sometimes it's just when I save a map, the computer just dumps out to the bsod. There is no time when I use radiant, that it doesn't core dump out to the bsod when using radiant. Below are my specs.

Processor: AMD Phenom Quad-Core 2.2 GHz
Ram: 4 GB
Video Card: ATI Radeon X1550 Series 512 MB

Operating System:
Windows Vista Home Premium
System type: 32-bit Operating System

this could be a vista issue I know when I had vista and tried to use radient i had a similar problem.

Thanks Breesy. Thats what I am thinking, that Radiant and Vista have some kind of compatability issue.

That was my issue i know there was an issue to do with vista and the radient auto save so wouldn't surprise me. unfortunately I havn't got a solve for you though mate because I'm not using vista any more but hope you get it fixed.

I don't t think it can solve on my computer. Before my system crashed last month, I tried for a couple of months to get radiant to work, and had the same problem of it crashing out to the bsod. We tryed several different methods of correcting it, by several different people, all of whom were very good with computers, and no one could figure it out. I even had the exact same issues with Hammer when I tried to map for Left for Dead 2. Thanks for the response though guys.
