WaW gave us Nazi Zombies, Vehicles, much better engine upgrades, better mod tools and MUCH more.
United offensive? That still was the best upgrade of the call of duty series (in its time) they introduced everything you said (apart from zombies) but also new gametypes and weapons, along with a full campaign new MP maps not just reskinned/renamed... |

They also stated that the minimum specs are not definite yet and so everything points to the fact that they arent sure if more players on PC if memory problems could start appearing. Totally understandable. I wouldnt think we'll get over 32 players this time but at the same time, how many servers run with more than 32 players?
Maybe it's networking problem due to scripts size, i would like to see client-side scripts in BO, this will minimalize bandwitch usage alot and give us 64 slots back.

pluxy writes...Quote: Aww yeah techno, forgot... cod5 is not a mod of cod4, is a beta mod of it,since maps were horribily done, giving low fps compared to cod4 ones and the mod tools were also a bit buggy.
I remember that tools for CoD4 were extremly buggy before Infinity Ward released 1.1 patch for tools. You probably don't know that WaW maps are using more than 1024 models, xmodel limit was changed to 2048 so its a big plus, maps design in WaW is amazing and they are very detailed, have you ever seen so much foliage and trees in CoD before WaW? And all games are bugged on release, i havent seen game without patches. CoD4 had 7 patches and WaW had 7. If your fps is low maybe its time to upgrade your RAM memory, CPU and GFX card?
Sorry for second post. |

I'm not gonna lie, Texture Steaming makes no difference to gameplay what so ever. |

Quote: What did the IW COD4 - MW2 step give us? Some more killstreaks... and removed everything Trey did for us and tore the game down to basicly nothing by removing mod tools, dedi servers and countless other core things. Now Trey have once again, stepped in, given us back dedi servers, and are trying to hardest to give us back what we love most - Mod tools
Please shut up and get of the "LOL IW ARE AMAZING TREY ARE GAY" bandwagon... its pathetic and proves your level of thinking.
Where did i say that iw are amazing?...what I wanted to say with all that is that codbo looks completely the same as mw2, and if u don't see it u are blind, but seems like ohh, trey gave back dedis and mod tools let's all say they are great.I can remember how everybody was saying the same i said before iw didn't put dedis on mw2(check old posts)

I practicaly never mapped for waw, so I can't opine so much, just heard things about how it sucked, we only need to check how many people still playing it and how many ppl still playing cod4.
I've got a 260 gtx card 1gb and 4 gb of ram, I think that's enough to play codwaw with good graphics and having fps around 250 333 like what i got in cod4, not around 90....
Apart from that, can we stop this discussion? I know I probably started it but now this is becoming stupid. |
