Confirmed - Call of duty modding is gone, please find a game that hasn't become overated and greedy and remembers its roots and how modding the original game made the series what it is today!

I think there trying to crack down on cheaters. Just do a search and already you see them advertising hacks for op's and it isn t even out yet. They got to do something or there game and game engines going down the tubes. I know im going hear "but cheaters are few and far between" but thats just bs. The new aimbots and wall hacks are so hard to tell and good admins are few and far between. Stupid cheaters I like are the ones that type in wrong console aimbot -1 , no really that did happen. The scoring says it all and is best best way to tell, unless there camping which could be exception, but thats where a good admin comes in.

No. Modtools and Dev Console have been confirmed. Lets wait and see. Granted the Dedicated Server setup is not what everyone expected. It sucks big time that only GSP is going to be allowed to host the Servers....

if this means - ranked players can play the stock game as is, and any dlc is tied to this. unranked players can change all settings/run barebones and play custom maps. then thats great! lots of choice for each type of player.... its not comin across as clear as that tho to me...

I don't think the devs will even know about mod tools for certain until the game is released. But like Zeroy and Faffer said there are still plenty of options to have mod tools including a radiant editor. We can only hope, but I'm not pre-ordering now until it's confirmed because... I want to make maps!

considering how popular "stock" is in cod 4/5 then it would make sense to do it that way....people who like all the junk are probably more likely to buy DLC. personally, i hate ranks/perks and wanna play custom maps so i'm more than happy to be "unranked"... i really hope this is the case! and wish they would just spell it out clearly!

We are being shafted again - just not quite as bad as MW2. Definatly not preordering. As others have said, will wait until it is released and see what happens.
