They dont want to release the server stuff to public people because obv it will be hackable/modable. Though lets wait and see about the mod tools, I think something good can still come out of this cod BS.

Not giving server files wouldn't block cheats because codbo is cod family engine so "hackers" can do little changes in their old cheats to make them working with CoDBO. Reason for no public dedi server files is because a HUGE problem in call of duty 4 and world at war as well, were cracked servers which allowed pirated versions of the game play online multiplayer. Obviously it is in the interest of activision to put a stop to this. I have used gameservers.com since I started pc gaming. Never have had had a problem with them.

I agree, most of these games are no more than expansion packs if they wasn't on consoles. Wish the series stuck to the PC as i think UO was arguably the best game of the series and that was only an 'expansion'.
