bascally on cod4 when i load up multiplayer i go to play on a server it says "iw_11.iwd different from servers" but i havent edited it in anyway, so i tried uninstalling and re-installing 3 times to be sure still dont work, any ideas?

I used to have this problem in CoD2; some servers didn't accept one of my *.iwd, don't know why. So ... ? I got another version of this file ( from a friend I believe ) and was replacing it if error occoured Maybe it has something to do with patches? Dunno. Does this happen on every server you try to join? Or some of them?

The file is too big, otherwise I would upload it and share with you. I don't know will it help, but ... how many bytes does this file have? Maybe due to the change size was altered and I'll compare it to mine. Then we'll find out do you have the right file. Cheers

Are you playing on a modded server? Because in CoD4 I couldn't play ProMod because I got invalid IWD's and I fixed it by deleting my mod folders.

took out my "mods" folder and turned off mods in filter says same thing

were can i get another iw_11 folder from?

I said how many bytes does it have. When the slightest change is performed, number of bytes slightly change. 147,872 KB isn't precise enough.

Right click on your file and go to 'Properties'. There you have what I meant. Of course it doesn't matter anyway if your another file will work and is different indeed. Let us know.

bytes is just another 3 numbers, any way all it was: my brother try to edit the ac130_105 weapon file so he doesnt have to reload he left the .iwd before he edited in my documents but i didnt see it. it works now =p
