Almost a year ago I released a map some of you might have heard of called "D-day 7.4" for COD4. Its a recreation of the original custom map from the first COD and then a remake of my COD2 version.

I received comments that the spawn areas trapped everyone in the houses. I set it up that way to prevent spawn camping and it was how the original was set up. The only thing I can think of that would cause this spawn problem is that someone must be camping one house or another. Everyone knows that all COD games will spawn you at random locations depending on where your teammates are on the map. So I am sure you can see how a camper can effect the team.

So to the point.... how does everyone else decide where to put spawns and how many? I would like to avoid this if possible in my map I am working on now. I might even go back and fix the spawns in my D-day map for COD4.

Well i put about 16 sprawns for allies and 16 for axis for most

gametypes in the map at ramdom spots indoor and outdoor.

But try to keep some cover in mind....

The trouble with this is you can,t please everyone[ohwell]

Also read comments from people that only play 1 gametype on there

server [got a pm about ctf for rostov and this guy made a complete

new sprawn layout for me]
