If you are going to be designing levels for UT2K3 you need to try to follow these guidelines for AI Pathing in the Level so the NPC's can get around. Really good info. What prompted this post is that most of the Custom levels I looked at did not have this set. Hence if you add bots to the level they can be totally lost as to what they are there for. Yeah but we got documentation now. lol
Most of those maps out there for ut2k3 are not very good. With the game engine that is available I wouldn't want to build it unless I could make the bots work with it for single play also.
The level I have started will have to wait until I can create some basic static meshes in 3ds max. I want custom made pillars etc., the textures available in ut2k3 would be alright for a while. I would like to be able to create static meshes and make available for download. Kind of like the prefabs for sof2. But this is another subject. Just excited about 3ds max. And I owe it all to you. As claimed I don't think Maya PLE works seemlessly with the editor as claimed.
