I didn't change anything, i just approved it. I think it's the automated system that's removing/changing things.

You should be able to edit it yourself. It just then has to be approved by an admin...although it will probably just be automatically adjusted again, just like the first time.

OK, I've just edited it. When someone will approve it, we'll see whether it worked or not.

It doesn't seem to be updated [angryalien] Are those missing backslashes and misspellings going to be permanent? I hope not [ohwell]

I believe this is the tutorial in question:
http://modsonline.com/Tutorials-read-712.html

Viewing the tutorial, all looks correct.
Editing the tutorial, all looks correct.
Submitting the tutorial, it does NOT look correct. Addition slashes appear in the content.

There. Thanks. I have now fixed that issue I pointed out above. Let me know if anything else occurs and I will fix it.

Yes, this is my tutorial. Thanks for getting back my backslashes! [biggrin]

Now the only problem I see, is how to edit this thing. I tried to edit Welshy's version ( clicked 'edit' link next to 'Created 2010-07-07 12:08:42 by Welshy', changed what I wanted to change and submitted ). I waited about 3 days and nothing changed ( I'm not mentioning those backslashes, because it didn't depend on my edits ). Well, my point is that editing a tutorial does nothing. I made numerous changes and after 3 days tutorial stayed the same. Any suggestions?

So the version that is displaying right now is not what you just edited?

Nope, it's the original version. But I'll edit it once again, wait few days ... and if this won't work and tutorial won't be updated ... well, then I don't know what to do. Perhaps you'll have to edit it manually. We'll see.

EDIT: At the first time I was editing it in WYSIWYG editor; changing fonts and misspellings. Maybe I should edit HTML code directly? What do you think? Should it matter?

Alright, I edited it another 3 days ago, this time I changed HTML source. Nothing changed of course. Here's the changed version:

Brief part:
http://codeviewer.org/view/code:109f

Body part:
http://codeviewer.org/view/code:109e

Another funny thing is, that I couldn't place this code in BBC "code" tags; every "<\" phrase was ... deleted ... I guess it's the next issue you will have to deal with. See an example below ( it should be "< / span >" without quotes and spaces ):

Code:

span>

I'm curious why "Edit" feature doesn't work. It seems that an updated version is not in moderation queue anymore. Should it be?

Well, nothing? Too bad =( But I will post 4 times in a row if it's necessary ( is it a black-mail ? [duh] ). No, seriously, why Edit feature doesn't work?
