1000th post [drink]
as promised here are a few screenshots of the MP map ive been making, im taking time with it to make it look good but i hope to finish it soon. the lighting isnt done yet but its set at an early morning timeframe so its supposed to be a bit dark. each door has a marker on it, there are several office buildings, a warehouse area, and a parking lot. originally you could go into each office but i have locked most of them off now that was too much effort and there really was no purpose to it.

thanks, i will make sure everyone knows when its done -- beware it will be a monster download 60MB or more [lol] the custom textures and music will cause the PK3 to be larger than others you would download.

the layout should make for a good DM/INF/DEM map, i dont know how good it will be for CTF mode, but its fairly balanced even though unsymmetrical. there are the same number of entrances to the flag area, etc.

i have redesigned a few things and reduced the average polycount from 12000~14000 to 5000~8000 (!) so it will run ok on older computers. its hard to decide how much detail to add, too little it looks plain, too much and its less playable on old computers. theres still an amount of overdraw that can hopefully be removed and the detail added in its place so im kind of stuck right now on optimisation rather than just rushing on and completing the unfinished parts.
