Ok, as I have said, I am all new in 3Ds Max, so I need help a bit.
This is sample sherman model which you get with UO Tools (Ignore that it has no textures, I was too lazy..)
It has all the tags.(Pls zoom it so you can see tags)

This is Tiger model which was decompiled by program called Xmodel exporter.
It has not a single tag.

This is file I got when I decompiled my Tiger.
Now, I want to know, as I am begginer, is there any easy but effective way so I can add tags to my Tiger, beacuse when I check sherman tag options, I see that it's actually some kind of "Dummy", but I don't know a way to add this to Tiger.
At the moment, any answer would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Ivan. |

Umm, mate. They tried to help you, but you wouldn't listen to what they had to say. I promise you that you won't find a better site out there dedicated to helping the modding community. Perhaps you should read their posts again. |

And can you show me any helpfull post? Maybe you should read my posts first:

answer:
Yes ivan, that's because the tank that comes with the mod tools, is the RAW file of the model they used, meaning it has all of the tags etc. The new tank you have is just a decompiled version, and the decompiler you have, does not export the joints.
and how the hell can you say this is usefull, he has repeated this like thousand times and I understand that, but I ASKED DIFFERENT TYPE OF QUESTION -___-

I think you should try reading our posts, you know, the ones where we try to help you:
NovemberDobby writes...Quote: You can copy the tags from the template model into the same file as the mesh you decompiled, and bind the tags up to specific parts of the mesh so it works ingame.
I don't know how I can make this any simpler; start by copying the tags from the template into the model you're working on. |
