Common errors; no reason to worry.

Lol, but vT it fails to compile anymore, I'm finding that a bit worrying.[wink]
It was working fine but now fails to compile anything, even the basic map unfortunately.
Anyone willing to try to compile my map so I can find out if they get the same messages?[rolleyes]

Access errors, you could try ''run as admin''. Also make sure you have read/write permissions if it's not your PC/account.

Im just wondering it the writing or attempting to write to or from the \Lachlan\ folder is causing issues.

I believe it's the default mod settings built into the compiler, you can change the 'Read Only' on those folders to remove the error but there's no point, the real error is further up in the compile log.

L4chy, you have either frozen the layer that you actually need to compile or you have a more significant error further up, we need your complete compile log IF the Layers warning is not the problem.

Oh hehe; just looked at the access errors. These will have nothing to do with the compile in whole or in part. Like techno pointed out the true problem is the compiler isn't reading the .map at all, its simply skipping the whole global layer, which is entities, brushes, patches, etc., for some reason. Please open radiant and press keyboard 'L' make sure there is not either an x by global layers, and or its not selected.

P.S. Techno would like me to mention that he found the layer problem. Kudos to him, heres a cookie! [tongue]
