Killzone 2 is looking to be quite an awesome game. I know the first game didn't have what it took to be great, but the new E3 footage will change your mind.. not might change your mind, but will change your mind. This game is being compared to Call of Duty and Half-Life 2 because it brings the player experience of working with a unit that CoD brought to you in it's first release. At the same time it brings graphics you aren't used to having like HL2 did for us. Right now, this is console news since the game is first coming out for Playstation 3, but it doesn't mean we shouldn't watch for it to come out on PC. I must be the only person who wasn't impressed with that video. While it look good graphically it looked like it wouldn't play well at all. The AI appeared at least to be either dumb or non-existent (probably a clue that this was nothing more than CG). The enemy soldiers stood straight up 5 feet away from the "player", they didn't seem to communicate, and they just stood waiting to get shot. If you ask me that either means that the game's AI will be sub-par or that this video was nothing more than concept art.

This video is said to be actual gameplay and not computer generated. That's one of the things that makes this game look so HOT. If it turns out to generated, the game will go to the bottom of my list. Also note that this game is for PS3 which isn't out until Sprin gof next year so there is still development going on. I would hope the AI will have some adjustments.

It's still just a concept video used to show that the PS3 could do graphics like that in the future. So that's better than just a pre-rendered video but it doesn't say much for the game itself.
