Hi there i am brand new to this site and i have to say it looks like quite a decent community. Ive just finished a degree in games computing (to add to my music degree the idea was to combine the two...), now that ive finished im trying to get together a portfolio of all things game related. That is to say generating storys for games, single player and multiplayer maps for HL, Doom and UT04, Audio(This being my main interest), general c++/java/php/anything code wise applications, some 3D modelling and animation in max. The idea is to make my portfolio look quite impressive.

So thats out of the way, are there any people out there who may need help in any of that especially with custom sounds? Helping other people just motivates me

Actually we do, I'm the project leader of a doom3 singleplayer mod based of George Romero's living dead films. We actually need music for a main menu screen and a few moddy atmospheric tracks during game play.
