hi if i compile my map the bsp doesnt update! it is still the old map?!

and something strange happens: in the end not the mp wintow opens. the sp game opens?!like i were making a sp map!
i hope someone can help!
this might be the problem but i have no idea what it means!

I seem to remember this happening to me before. I think it can be caused by several problems, one of which I believe is a leak.

It's rather strange that its opening single player rather than multiplayer, maybe you don't have all the neccessary items such as spawn points for multiplayer, or you do, but also have a singleplayer start and its getting confused?

Try copying the contents of the .map into another .map with a different name and attempt to compile the new one and see if it updates.

Leaks don't normally prevent a bsp from compiling but an issue that might cause a leak like an infinite brush or 0 tiny portals just might although you compile log looks ok if not .. complete. The problem is this is COD4 where the stages are different. So forgive me for asking the inevitable question... did you build the Fast File?

SP entities can't trigger the game to launch into SP mode but compiling paths will, you don't need to connect paths as you shouldn't have any pathnodes. When you compile paths for SP the game opens an SP exe and that might be what your seeing.

Overall from a quick scan the compile log looks OK so Build the Fast file and then check the directories, above all make sure that you don't have duplicate Fast Files of your map in different directories. If you have lots of mod folders simply place the new Fast File in zone/english directory and then launch the level without loading any mods just to make sure the compiler has compiled the latest d3dbsp correctly.

for smome reasen the compiler didnt replaced the old bsp files. so i just had to delete all the files the bsp compiler creates and compile again. then it works.
thanks for ur help anyway

i havent got the problem with the single player anymore!

reinstalling does not help either...
i hope it is only the saving wich isnt that bad i think ill have to live with it..
