I dont care that I was banned, it's the reason for the ban.
I have run servers for eight yrs and some one letting go of some over the top verbals is nothing and I was not looking for people to feel sorry for me, what a silly notion.
If you read the posts before going off on one, you would have noticed that my point was, what is cheat doctor.

In MW2, I was playing with some of the Left 4 Dead Addicts guys and a lot of randoms. It was my first ever try at MW2 and I quickly found out how easy it was to use the radar and sound to spot any enemy.. obviously the killcam made one guy believe I was hacking...

"Techno turn off your hack please"....

I just replied with:

"lol, are you kidding me"

But looking back it would be better to say what morgawr said as it's the only comment that makes the accuser feel stupid and not the typical comment "i'm not hacking" - that a hacker would use.

i am in total agreement with raven on this matter.

what you need to remember is that when you go on someones server you are a guest.

you should respect what they are trying to achieve.
indeed they may be wrong in judgement but that doesn't give you the right to verbally abuse them does it.

which ever way the server admins want to run their gaming server is entirely up to them.

they pay the bills...you don't...fact.

ask yourself the same question:
if someone came onto your server using foul or abusive language.....how long would they last before you yourself banned them?

i do know this.... if you come onto my server using that kind of language your backside would not touch the ground.

Just don't worry about it, it will happen from server to server. If you are better than the admin and kill him over and over he will ban you for the simple fact that he is either mad or thinking that you hack which I guess means he is mad still.

When someone calls you out, just ignore it, don't type or respond.

to be honest on our servers i get owned all the time, and i dont give a monkeys hoot about it.

to be honest i am only happy if other people are happy and enjoying themselves on our servers.

what you need to understand and i am sure that many owners feel the same way, is the fact that folks come to someones server and join them on a teamspeak server and have nothing but fun, thats where i get the satisfaction in knowing that my job is done.

if everyone is happy then so am i, it means i did a good job.

it is hard to judge who's using and who isn't but at the end of the day it's all about experience in what to look for, and the fact to police your servers in the best way you know how.

admins do call a ban wrong from time to time but thats all about human error nothing more, i myself have called it wrong twice and the person who i banned appealed his ban and we got things sorted and now he's back playing.

the best way to be a good admin is to admit it when you are wrong, people will respect you more if you stay honest with them.
being a complete jerk just to point out that it's your server and it's your way or the highway is the wrong way to run a server.

it's all about respect.

again what i will not stand is foul or abusive language.
you will be perm banned on the spot, there are plenty of scrolling messages in my server just like everyone elses serv er that quite clearly states.

you swear you get banned, this is your only warning.

sorry to rabbit on guys but i think there are many new folks who are starting up their own clans who do indeed check these forums and they do look fo a bit of guidance in how to be a better admin, so i hope from what i have said a potential new admin/owner would benefit from this post, and have a more clearer understanding on how to conduct yourself when becoming a person with authority on his/her own server.

I understand your points on server manners, and yes I reacted badly when I should have laughed, I would have liked to have stayed calm and seen if a ban still followed, but to late now. I have run my own servers for eight years and my clans, BloodBoyz and Flag Grabbers have always been known as respectfull clans to all.
3 rules in [F.G]
1) zero tollerance on racism
2) If asked to stop doing something "STOP"
3) Respect other servers

foul or abusive language, even a good barny between gamers is a scream, but rule 2 prevents it going to far.

I am totaly against censorship, and when gamers join my servers it's usualy to unwind after work and escape rules.

but this post was not about my abusive outburst, it was about the reason for it, in my eyes an abuse of admin, the fact that its their server means nothing, I was unjustly and allmost certanly, knowinly screwed over. but all I want to know is,
does anyone know what cheat doctor is, I assume it's something admin have set up and they dish out justice the way they see fit. I don't really care I'm just curious.

as for cheat dector as it quite clearly states, it's probably what they have renamed the stock text too.

you will find clans doing that sort of thing, you need to forget about them and move on buddy, let it go now.
