Hmm, don't you mean it's not recognizing setVolFog ? Because I have setExpFog in my map (in the main gsc) and it works.

Anyway, yeah, the sky isn't affected by fog, but so is in real life. If you look up during a foggy day, you'll see the sky. If you look left, right, forward or back you'll see buildings, hills etc that are covered by the fog.
So that's what you should do in your map: don't allow the player to see the sky if he's not looking up. [thumbs_up]

And it probably is as You said (i'm not sure), but for sure CoD 4 is not recognizing "setExpFog".

And about volumetric.. fine, but it doesn't covering the skybox.

Models and brushes are covered with fog but sky is clear.

It looks pretty weird i must say[ohwell]




COD4 is not recognising setExpFog()? Well, it was in COD2, and is used throughout COD4's maps\mp\_art.gsc as well so I guess you arent using/setting it correctly.

My mistake[tongue] It's about "setVolFog" not "setExpFog" SORRY[tongue]


"SetExpFog" started at first attempt.

I've "SetVolFog" many times, and each time i've get back an error

"unrecognizable command"

I was looking for an example in all awaliable stock mp_maps, and none of them using "SetVolFog".
Only "mp_citystreets" and "mp_convoy" are using: "setcullfog (x, x, x, x, x, x);"

How is that command working? I mean, what is the meaning if it's parameters?
