When I try to do a full compile the computer turns off/crashes when it gets to about 45 percent when compiling the light.

Not happened when doing a quick compile, I've just added the light grid using pink lightgrid_volume texture, could that have caused it?

2 mb

I had no problems doing a full compile on the last map I made.

think you mean 2 gb....wouldnt be able to do much, let alone even run XP on 2mbs of ram

Do,t think its memory run vista and radiant on 2 gb

Did 3 maps full compile and released them no problems

Maybe overheating ....pc shuts down for safety reason

My fans run faster when i compile...

how big is map? how much space u have? did u explode ur pc? is there any mushrooms growing in ur pc? is there dust? did u compile with fast or extra light?

Sorry, I should have said 2GB [duh]
It's a big map, a tanks map, 16 tanks, tdm only, each team has 8 tanks [casanova]
I'll try the collecting dots method instead.

And Tom, pc didn't explode, couldn't find any mushrooms [casanova]
Extra light and Verbose.

hmm try 3 tanks each team and see if it works. or try without verbose. or compile with fast

Map compiles ok just using fast or extra, when I use Verbose it gets to about 40 percent when doing the light then pc crashes/turns off.

But I need Verbose ticked because It's the final compile I'm wanting to do.
