M'kay, uhh...
When I try to test my map, it'll crash when it finishes loading. The screen just goes dark for a few seconds when it'll say CoD UO has encountered an error and stuff. It happens at the end of the loading, not the start of the map. I have cleared my directory of mods and maps that wern't included in the original CoD UO installation. Anyway, here's my compile log incase you need it:

Hmm... usually says about 700 seconds elapsed as opposed to 468.
Some other stuff on my map that I've been told that *may* cause problems if not done properly:
Rotating doors (Lots of these. Made them the same way I did on another map, and they were fine)
Changing the vertices on terrain patches. (Again, lots of these. Changing them so they fit around trenches, don't go into buildings, but go around them, etc...)

I bit late for a response, but i believe your problem lies with:

I believe this is caused by using the cliping tool on brushes already smaller than 1x1 unit. Or using any of the csg tools.

Solution: save your map with a new name, select everything in the new map, and click "clean brushes". (its in one of the drop down menus)

Selecting everything in the map and importing it into an empty map might fix it aswell. I have had this error with prefabs, which might be where your error started.

If neither of the above methods find the Node without volume, you're pretty much gonna have to systematically delete sections of your map until you find the offending brush.

I'm not sure if there's another way to find it.

But i hope you've already found a solution by now anyway!
PS: don't use the CSG tools!

Yeah, I've fixed the problem now. It was caused by my rotating doors... don't know why, I used the same method in the tutorial and my other maps, and they worked fine. Finished that map now anyway, came out quite cool.

On the map I'm currently working on now, I'm trying to avoid using the CSG tools. But when I'm feeling REALLY lazy/tired, it's hard to avoid the easy, short and slight-chance-of-error way.

Glad you got it fixed already.

Did it have anything to do with the node with zero volume? Did that error disapear when you deleted the doors? I seem remember (atleast 3 years ago) that error making one of my own maps crash on loading.

anyway, I saw the zero responses on a month old thead and thought i would throw in my 2 cents.

Atleast you are sorted now.
