Yeah, you can use 3D RipperX to extract the whole scene into a mesh, then take out the model you want. Though it must be said, it takes a while, and your almost garenteed to get stupid errors with the program, as it very, very unstable.

The thing about this is - 3D Ripper wont work with the game running through Steam. So, you are pretty much stuffed if you want to remain perfectly legal.

I dont think DX ripping is illegal if the assets come from a COD game and go into a COD mod. Its when you rip assets from one game and put them into a different game by a different publishers. That's when you infringe copyright laws. But COD games are all owned by Activision, and as all mods are technically also owned by them as well, you cant infringe any copyright, because its all owned by the same publisher.

I think Demon is right. Any ways all COD series is Activision's property. Thanx for the info
